Are you not getting results?

You've tried resting it. You've tried pushing through it. Maybe you've seen someone else and walked away with the same pain and a sheet of exercises that didn't seem to change anything. That's a frustrating cycle, and it's more common than it should be.
  • You're waking up stiff and sore, and it's starting to affect everything: work, training, sleep, the things you actually want to be doing.
  • You've been told to rest, but the pain just comes back the moment you start moving again.
  • You've had treatment before, but nobody looked beyond the spot that hurts. You never really understood what was causing it.
  • You're not just looking to manage it. You want it gone — for good.
  • You're tired of spending time and money on appointments that leave you no better off than when you walked in
Pain is a signal that something is wrong. The problem is most treatment focuses on the signal, not the source.

We find the cause. We fix the cause.

Dynamic Therapy is a Myotherapy clinic in Deer Park serving Melbourne's western suburbs. We treat pain and dysfunction by looking at your whole body — not just the part that's giving you grief — because that's where the real answers usually are.

You get a full-body assessment

We understand what's actually driving your pain, not just what's reacting to it.

You get a custom Rehabilitation Program

You leave each session with a clear plan for stretches, exercises and self-treatment to keep improving between appointments.

You get hands-on treatment using multiple techniques

We're not locked into one approach. If something isn't working, we adapt.

You get referred to the right person

if we think a Chiropractor, Osteopath or Physiotherapist could help you more — we have that network ready to go.
Whether you've been dealing with this for three weeks or twenty years, we'll build a plan that works for your body.

dry needling

Using a solid filament needle to target a trigger point and elicit a pain response or a twitch response, which helps relieve myofascial tension within the body.

cupping

Cupping is used to decompress muscular and myofascial tension, increase blood flow, desensitise painful areas, and to help relax your sympathetic nervous system.

myofascial work

This technique uses little to no creams or oils, and works by applying a specific pressure to target fascial lines that are contributing to your pain, dysfunction or musculoskeletal condition.

scraping

By using a Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization tool, we can target different levels of muscle and fascia, increase blood flow to the area and desensitise the painful area.

Trigger point therapy

This is used by applying force in a localised area and targeting active trigger points that can contribute to pain. Active trigger points can cause referral pain and muscular tension which will result in loss of range of motion.

Joint Mobilitsations

A great way to alleviate joint pain and stiffness by applying force in a specific direction with the correct pressure to allow the joint to move as it should.
We don't keep you coming back with no results. If we can't help, we'll say so — and point you somewhere that can.

Questions We Get Asked

The simplest thing to do is get in touch via the book here button and we'll have a quick chat before you book. If we feel another health professional — like a Chiropractor, Osteopath or Physio — would serve you better, we'll tell you and connect you with the right person.

We start by assessing how your whole body moves and functions, to understand what's creating your pain. From there, we use the right combination of treatment techniques for your situation, then put together your personalised Rehabilitation Program so you leave with a clear plan.

Depending on what your body needs, we draw from dry needling, cupping, myofascial release, scraping (IASTM), trigger point therapy and joint mobilisations. We'll always explain what we're doing and why — and we adjust based on how your body responds throughout the session.

Yes. We've successfully worked with clients who've had chronic pain for over 20 years. Complex and long-standing conditions can take more sessions to resolve, but the process is the same: find the actual cause, treat it properly, and give you the tools to maintain it.

Women: a singlet or halter-neck top and shorts so we can access your upper back comfortably. Men: a singlet and shorts. If you have personal or religious reasons for wearing different clothing, just let us know — it's a recommendation, not a requirement.

Yes. We're registered with many private health providers and have a HICAPS machine in the clinic so you can claim on the spot. If you're unsure what you're covered for, check with your insurer before your session.

It depends on the person and the area being treated. Some techniques work at a deeper level and can feel uncomfortable — most clients describe it as "good pain" as the tension releases. We communicate throughout the session to make sure we're working at the right level for you. The goal is never to make you tense up — that's counterproductive and we're very aware of it.

This depends on your condition, how your body responds, and how consistently you follow your Rehabilitation Program. Simpler issues often resolve in 3 to 5 sessions. More complex or chronic conditions may take more. We'll give you an honest picture at your first appointment.

Head to the booking page and pick a time. Evening and Saturday sessions are available. If you'd rather talk first, call 0482 070 141 or email info@dynamictherapy.com.au.
